Ashley Dupré is speaking out for the first time since the New York prostitution scandal, paying tribute to her supporters and telling her critics that they only make her stronger.

“Thank you all so much for taking the time to send me a bit of strength and inspiration via e-mail or comment,” Dupré writes on her MySpace blog, in which she calls her mood “Thankful.” “Your words have touched me, and I thank you for that … with all my heart, I love you guys!!! :)”

The 23-year-old call girl who played a major role in bringing down Gov. Eliot Spitzer had been nearly invisible since March 12, when she was identified.

Infectious Kiss by Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway gave Steve Carell a pink eye when they kissed in Get Smart. Hathaway said she was suffering from itchy eyes when she filmed a particularly raunchy scene with Carell.

She says, a certain contact solution gave me conjunctivitis. I also had a sinus infection at the same time. So I had to go up to Steve with my eyes red, puffy and dripping green. I’m snotty and I’m just Luke “Come here”,

However, Hathaway revealed she was unaware she had pink eye and was forced to ring the film’s producer Alex Gartner to warm him. She added, I told Alex. You might want to call Steve & let him know I had pink eye and my tears kind of get in my mouth, so he might want to worry about that. But I’d do the kiss again in a heart beat

Future Blast

Thandie Newton & Danny Glover are in talks to star in the next epic production by Roland Emmerich. They will portray the US president and his daughter in 2012, the story of how human race survives a global cataclysm. The film follows in the same vein as others Emmerich movies like The Day After Tomorrow and Independence Day.

Chiwetel Ejiofor and John Cusack are already on board. Filming is set to begin next month, unless a strike of US actors prevents it from taking place.

Carla Bruni’s nude image sold for $91000

A nude photo of French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy was sold on Thursday in New York for $91,000.The price of photo was more than 20 times its expected price.In this photo,she is standing in a pigeon-toed pose and covering her modesty with her hands.

According to Christie’s auction house,a buyer for a Chinese art collector bought the black-and-white image, taken by photographer Michel Comte in 1993 during her modeling days.

The sale of the photo has attracted attention since Bruni married French President Nicolas Sarkozy .

This black-and-white image had been expected to fetch between $3,000 and $4,000. It was auctioned among 140 photos from German collector Gert Elfering, which also features work by Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton and Peter Beard.

An Avedon portrait of 1950s and 1960s French screen siren Brigitte Bardot collected $181,000. It had been expected to earn between $80,000 and $120,000.
