Woman believed to have siphoned off cash intended for underprivileged groups for 16 years
Danish police have launched an international search for a 64-year-old civil servant who they believe has left the country after helping herself to more than DKK 110m (£13m) of public money meant for social services.
The unnamed woman, described as a trusted and longstanding welfare agency official, siphoned off the money over a 16-year period starting in 2002, national radio DR reported.
