First flash from dying star

For the first time, scientists have seen the flash of light developed inside a dying star just before it bursts, according to a study that provides a different look into how a supernova develops.
The astronomers said, ‘The red super giant, more than 500 times heavier than the Earth’s own sun, was harmed after it’s core demolished and a deadly shock energy wave blew it up.
The researchers stated, till now the scientists have only been able to experience the afterglow of such explodes that light up galaxies without having knowledge of which star actually burst.
The researchers used satellite images marked to where telescopes on Earth had found supernova- which are produced by the burst of a star. They thought of a first flash from inside a dying star to only be perceptible in ultraviolet light from space.
Stephen Justham, a University of Oxford astronomer said, ‘The flash started just hours before the star was exploded. How the shock wave commutes in a star shows us the size of the star and what the inside is like in its final moments. The longer the flash, the bigger the star will be.
The researchers said, ‘It is important to understand what happens inside a star because the core usually acts as a powerful nuclear furnace developing heat and pressure that make the star shine and remain constant for long. When the cores of these stars are fall short of fuel, they fall and ignite a shock wave that travels to the surface at 29 million miles per hour to produce a fireball one billion times brighter than the sun.
